Saturday 5/2/26 - Johnson County Garden Celebration
If you’ve been waiting for a sign to get outside, dig in the dirt, and surround yourself with beautiful growing things… this is it.
The Johnson County Garden Celebration is one of those spring traditions that instantly lifts your mood the moment you walk through the gate. Flowers, herbs, vegetables, garden art, handmade goods, and rows of vibrant plants just waiting to go home with you. Whether you’re planting your first tomato or planning an entire backyard garden, you’ll find inspiration everywhere you look.
More than 85 vendors will fill the fairgrounds with annuals, perennials, unique plants, cottage-farm goods, and creative garden décor. The Master Gardeners and Purdue Extension Service will also be there to answer questions and share practical gardening wisdom. You can even grab free seeds and tree seedlings while supplies last.
Families will love the live wildlife rehabilitation presentation, where you can meet some incredible animals up close and learn how they’re cared for and protected.
Add in food trucks, friendly faces, and a whole lot of spring energy, and you’ve got a pretty perfect way to spend a Saturday.
Come wander, discover something new, and leave with a little more beauty for your home or garden.

Saturdays 5/30/26 to 9/12/26 - Franklin Farmers Market
There’s something about a Saturday morning at the farmers market that just feels right. Fresh air, friendly faces, music drifting through the park, and tables full of things grown, baked, crafted, and created right here in Indiana.
The Franklin Farmers Market is one of the community’s favorite warm-weather traditions. Every week, local farmers, bakers, and makers gather with seasonal produce, handmade goods, fresh foods, and unique finds you won’t see in big box stores. It’s the perfect place to wander, discover something new, and support the people who grow and create the things we love.
You’ll also find live music, themed market days, and a lively atmosphere that makes it more than just shopping. It’s a place to slow down, catch up with neighbors, and soak up the simple joy of a summer morning in downtown Franklin.
Come early, grab a coffee, stroll through the booths, and leave with something delicious, beautiful, or both.
